3 steps to close the deal when your customer gets funded

You just helped a customer get funded through Hearth. It’s time to celebrate, but it’s also time to get the ball rolling on this project. Here are the next steps to make sure you can get the project started — and get paid — right away.

Your next steps:

  1. Congratulate your customer on securing funding

Your customer is excited that they found a loan option that fits their needs — congratulate them! Now that you’ve been notified about their funded status, reach out. See the email template below for a suggestion of what to send.

  2. Invoice your customer for the project

Invoicing your customer quickly is key for getting the project started and making sure you get paid.

Here’s a sample email to send a customer:

Hi Joe,

Congrats on securing funding for your project through Hearth! I’m excited to get to work on your project. To get started, I’ve attached an invoice for X% of the project’s $<COST>.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks,

3. Get paid how you like and start the project!

When your customer gets funded through Hearth, they receive the money upfront and can pay you as if they had the cash in hand. Set a start date for the project as soon as you know they have the funds.

You’ve proven that you can close extra deals with Hearth and have demonstrated a commitment to growing your business. As you continue to offer Hearth to more customers, your return on investment will continue to skyrocket. Let us know if you have any questions about completing this project or closing the deal on the next one!

If you have any feedback about your experience funding a project with Hearth, leave us a review.
